The park has the most extensive diversity of safari activities ranging from Romantic Boat Safari along the Great Rufiji River, legendary fly camping trips, walking and compliment standard game driving in thriving wildlife areas.

Itinerary
Day 1 – Zanzibar to Selous – Game Viewing & Sunset Boat Safari
In the morning, you will start your safari in Zanzibar, flying in a light aircraft to the Selous, one of Africa’s most significant game reserves. Upon arrival at Beho Beho airstrip, you will be met by our driver guide for greetings and a briefing about your tour plan.
Game drives are the best way to explore more giant games, including Predators. In addition, the Selous is home to the largest population of wild dogs in Africa, which are a real highlight if you are lucky enough to encounter a pack.
You will start game drives with picnic lunches until the afternoon; you will return to the lodge and relax for one hour, then depart for an afternoon boat safari. The boat safari is superb in the afternoon, watching wildlife come to the water’s edge to drink and getting close to bird colonies, hippos and crocodiles. Finally, you will return to the lodge and relax at the fire bonfire, having dinner and an overnight stay in the heart of the core game-viewing area of Selous.
Day 2 – Selous enroute Game drive – Departure to Zanzibar
After breakfast, pack your bags and say farewell as you depart the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar. Wave goodbye to Selous and enjoy an en-route game drive to the airstrip.
